IMPORTANT GRADUATION ANNOUNCEMENT

Attention 12th Grade Bayfront Students & Families

GENERAL GRADUATION INFORMATION - CLASS OF 2024

Graduation Date: Friday May 31, 2024

Graduation Time: 5:00pm

Location: SDSU - Montezuma Hall (5500 Campanile Drive San Diego, CA 92182)

ON GRADUATION DAY: May 31

Staff to arrive by 4:00 pm (unless otherwise noted by committee).

  • All graduates must report directly to the graduation venue (SDSU - Montezuma Hall) by 4:00 pm.

  • Graduates will relax in a secured area until the processional begins at 5:00 pm.

ABOUT OUR GRADUATION CEREMONY

The ceremony will last between 60 and 75 minutes (ending at approximately 6:15pm). All families should make post-ceremony plans accordingly.

Professional pictures will be taken of all graduates and will be provided for FREE to all families.

Students and families may leave at any time after the ceremony concludes.

Guests will be permitted to remain on campus until 6:45pm to take pictures.

The following items are prohibited at the graduation ceremony and are subject to confiscation by school or security personnel:

  • No Knives / Weapons / Sharp Objects

  • No Vapes / E-cigarettes

  • No Pets / Animals (Unless ADA identified)

  • No Drugs or Drug Paraphernalia

  • No Outside Food or Beverage

  • No Strollers

  • No Confetti / Cannons

  • No Backpacks / Large bags

  • No Air Horns

  • No Re-entry

  • No Balloons Inside the venue (Balloon Bouquets MUST BE checked in before entering)

Live streaming of the graduation ceremony will be offered via Zoom (for family/friends who are not able to attend). The Zoom link for live streaming will be posted on our website's HOME PAGE at https://www.bayfrontcharter.org/on the day of graduation.

GUEST INFORMATION

  • Guests will be allowed to enter the graduation venue beginning at 4:15 pm.

  • The ceremony will begin at 5:00pm.

  • All guests must pass through security.

  • Students will receive a total of 5 tickets.

  • All guests MUST HAVE A TICKET and must be named on your student’s guest list.

  • GUESTS MUST KEEP TICKET WITH THEM AT ALL TIMES.

  • There will be Open Seating for all guests - First come first serve.

  • Per venue requirements and to ensure optimal viewing for all guests, families with balloons or large displays will be REQUIRED to check their item in before entering the graduation area.

PARKING INFORMATION

  • All guests will have to pay for hourly parking.

  • The closest parking area for families is in Parking Structure 3 (PS 3)

    We are making every effort to make Bayfront's Graduation Ceremony a positive and memorable event. Thus, all students and guests who attend must honor our agreements. We look forward to celebrating our amazing seniors and sharing this momentous occasion.
